DMT : Ludhiana : (31 March 2023) : – The surgical Camp of Cleft Lip & Palate patients was organised in C.M.C. & Hospital, Ludhiana on 28th & 29th March 2023 by the Department of Plastic Surgery headed by Prof. Dr. Pinki Pargal & Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Headed by Prof Dr Inderjot Singh. A total of 17 difficult Cleft Lip & Palate patients were operated in two days along with Dr. Rajiv Choudhrie (CMC Alumni) & Dr. Mridul Manoj (CDC Alumni) from Padhar Hospital, Padhar MP. The experts from Anaesthesia Team who took the challenge were Dr. Valsa Abraham, Dr. Dootka Liddle and Dr. Aarti.Raj Kumar.
The surgical camp was supported by the Rock Foundation which always come forward for the help of Poor and Needy. The Rock Foundation donated rupees five lakhs to support this noble cause. The unwavering support for poor patients by the Rock Foundation was appreciated by the Director, C.M.C. & Hospital Dr (Prof) William Bhatti, who presented the member with token of appreciation. Present on the occasion were Dr. George Koshi, Dr. Abi M Thomas, Principal, Dental College and staff and students of C.M.C.
Cleft Lip & Palate surgeries need expert treatment and these surgeries are regularly being done in C.M.C. & Hospital, Ludhiana with special concession for poor and downtrodden.
