DMT : Ludhiana : (15 May 2023) : – The directions of Mrs. Amneet Kondal IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police Khanna, Khanna Police successfully cracks cold blooded blind murder case of 05 years old girl. Several teams under personal supervision of Dr. Pragya Jain, IPS Superintendent Police (D) were formed comprising of DySP Karnail Singh, Sub Division Khanna, DySP Harpal Singh (NDPS/Narcotic) Khanna, DySP Harsimrat Singh, Sub Division Payal, Inspector Hardeep Singh, SHO PS Sadar, Khanna, Inspector Amandeep Singh, In-charge CIA Staff, Khanna. These teams worked tirelessly day-night in a technical and scientific manner & successfully cracked the case & arrested the accused.
On 12.05.2023, Khanna Police was informed by the complainant that his 05-year-old minor daughter was missing since 11.05.2023 eveing. He searched village Mandiala Kalan, but failed to find her. After receiving information about the incident, Khanna Police immediately registered a FIR 80, dated 12.05.2023 U/S 346 IPC. Different Police teams were formed under various officers. With the support of the villagers of Mandiala Kalan, Khanna Police immediately started searching for the missing girl..
On 13.05.2023 morning the dead body of missing girl was found in maize fields of village Mandiali Kalan. Sections 363,364,302 IPC were subsequently added & the body of the 5 years minor girl was handed over to next of kin after post-mortem. Sustained questioning and in depth investigation led to arrest of accused Lal Babu Rai alias Lalua S/o Sarayug Rai R/o Amwa Kalan, Tehsil Piprahi, District Shibhar, Bihar on dated 14.05.2023.
During the investigation, it came to light that the accused Lal Babu alias Lalua had been living at Mandiala Kalan village for about 10 years and used to cook food for the migrant laborers who lived in motor near maize farms. On 11.05.2023 the accused Lal Babu Rai alias Lalua tried to molest the minor girl and when she raised an alarm, the accused Lal Babu Rai alias Lalua got angry and grabbed the minor girl by the neck and forcefully hit her body several times, due to which the minor girl died on the spot. Lal Babu Rai alias Lalua was afraid and hid the body of the minor girl in the maize fields.
Khanna Police worked tirelessly in dedicated and compassionate manner leading to arrest of accused in less than 36 hours in the gruesome incident.
