Bhog of Sri Sehaj Path at RGC to mark the beginning of the new session

DMT : Ludhiana : (08 August 2023) : – To seek the blessings of the Almighty for the new academic session 2023- 2024, Sri Sehaj Path was organized at Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana and its bhog took place today in the college auditorium. Soul stirring kirtan was presented by the faculty of PG. Dept. Music and its students. On this occasion, Bhai Harjinder Singh Ji (Srinagar wale), and Principal S. Sukhwant Singh, Jandiala Guru, enraptured the gathering with gurbani kirtan in their mellifluous voices. On this day, an extensively revised edition of the book ‘Japji -A Comparative Study’ by Dr Dalip Singh Deep was also released by Giani Harpreet Singh, Jathedar, Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, and Giani Harbhajan Singh, Dhudike. Eminent Punjabi writer Dr. Surjit Patar, Usman Ul Rehmani Ludhianvi (Shahi Imam, Punjab) and Dr. Sarabjot Singh, son of Dr. Dalip Singh Deep also marked his presence and shared his views on the book and said that Japji Sahib is the keystone of the compilation of the most sacred Banis of the Sikh Gurus. If Hindus have Bhagwat Geeta, Islam has Quran, Christians have Bible, Buddhist have Dhammapada, then Sikhs have Japji Sahib to trace the entire path of knowing the Divine within through the grace of the Divine. While addressing the students S.Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council said, “Gurbani is a source of strength in trying times, and a guide in bleak times”. Offg. Principal Jaspaul Kaur in her address extended her wishes for a promising new session and said, “we always want our students to start their academic session with the blessings of God so that their piousness can lead them towards their goals”. S. Gurcharan Singh Lotey, General Secretary, Ramgharia Educational Council gave his blessings to the students and motivated them to put their best foot forward in the upcoming new academic year. On this day, Giani Bhagat Singh Memorial Shiromani Ragi Award was also presented to Bhai Harjinder Singh and Principal S. Sukhwant Singh.
